Teaching reading takes time not rocket science, and the more time you put in the faster your kids will learn. Really there is no fast easy way to teach reading but you dont need to be a rocket scientist to teach your kids to read.

I suppose some teachers and schools would say that teaching reading is rocket science. But that would be to keep your children in the mainstream school system, especially if you are thinking of homeschooling.

If you take the phonics approach to teaching reading you might think phonics are rocket science but after you look into phonics you find out how easy they are. I prefer the Montessori approach to teaching phonics because she uses sandpaper letters. Now sandpaper letters actually help to implant the words and phonic sounds in your childs mind while she is just tracing the sandpaper letter.

You might think phonics are confusing but they are really quite simple because we say them every time we speak. Phonics are just a visual representation of the spoken word. And once your child can match the sound with the letters then she is well on the way on the road to reading fluently.

The problem with phonics is after learning phonics your child can read anything but she might not understand what she is reading. So you have to be there to explain some new words and sentences. It is also a good idea to ask your child to explain to you what she is reading and then you will know if she understands what she is reading. So teaching reading is not rocket science it just takes time

The ability to modify the process continuously, as the feedstocks change by modulating the other reactants to the process rather than changing batch recipes, makes it a highly flexible and more efficient process. These benefits of the technology have been confirmed through a 3rd party assessment completed by the Center for Process Innovation.

If this is your first year working on a science fair project then these steps will help you to turn your project idea into a hypothesis.

Step #1 Come Up With a Topic or Project Idea

Before you can create a hypothesis you need to select a topic for your project. The topic will be a general subject area that you are interested in. For example, you can select computers, robotics, electricity, physics or other broad topics.

Step #2 Conduct Research and Narrow Your Topic

You cannot build a project if all you have is a broad topic. You need to narrow down the topic to a very specific concept, issue or problem. The best way to do this is to conduct background research on your broad topic. This research will help you to find interesting subtopics that are related to your broad topic.

Step #3 Ask a Question About Your Subtopic

The next step is to ask questions about your subtopic that you would like to answer. Step four is to make a prediction about the answer to your question.
